The Fingers of God

I had a good week. Thursday Anders asked me if I had had any time with the Lord that day. I hadn't. I had all the time in the world, no school, the day off work, but I just didn't. So he took me in his arms and invited me to take some time in the arms of Christ and commune with Him. I closed my eyes and pictured myself in the arms of my Abba. I smiled and thought, "But God is always stroking my hair when I'm talking to Him." A few seconds later, Anders reached up and started running his fingers through my hair as we joined each other at the throne of grace in prayer and worship. It always amazes me how God cares about the little things and uses His children to bless each other with His heart. It was the most real worship time I had had for a while. I thank you, Father, for Your tender heart, and for giving Your heart for me to Anders. Thank you that I see my heavenly Bridegroom in his eyes. Thank you for giving him what it takes to be the spiritual leader a man needs to be for his family. Thank you for the love You have given us for each other. Again, and always, may it be a dim reflection of our love for You. Like the light of the moon is just a reflection of the light of the sun. You are our sun, and we will be the moon. The light is not of us, but we will show it to the world.

I'm so embarrassed!

My car was fine-ish. The reason it stopped running was because the gas tank was empty. Two miles from the Shell station. I thought it was related to the misfiring the engine had been doing lately. The mechanic put gas in it, changed the fuel filter and told me it needed a major tune up to the tune of around $400. It runs okay and my bank accounts are about empty. Actually, it hasn't been misfiring as much as before.
I have to take off. Friends are visiting my house and I should be there.
Anders is amazing. Friday he decorated his gramma's back yard like a fairy land with candles and white Christmas lights and served me dinner that he made himself. It was so beautiful and romantic! He is a genius!!!

Yeeehaaah!

Rejoicing!!!! Anders passed both casualty tests last night! He's done studying and testing! Now he can start working and earning money so we can get married. The next 5 years are going to be sooooo hard for him as he gets going in the business, but at least he'll have me to make sure his heart is okay. I love taking care of him. He loves taking care of me. We're going to have fun spoiling each other. As soon as things are "official" I will be sure to write all about it. Right now I have to get back to direct and inverse variations. Toddles, Noodles!

Hello, friends! Things here are pretty much the same as the last time I posted. Anders and I are more in love than ever. Emily is home and has been properly hugged and taken on a horseback ride. I have started Algebra II for fall quarter. Anders is taking the last two tests necessary for insurance licensing tomorrow evening. I bought a car, but it's broke down right now. I don't really have much to say right now and I have to get to class. Have an amazing day in the grace of our Abba.
